The New School is unlike any other university, and the refreshed www.newschool.edu that launches today is unlike any other university website. Dynamic, colorful, and direct, the site offers an immediate glimpse into our academic offerings and the interdisciplinary projects that connect The New School to the community and world around it.

The new site incorporates extensive feedback from students, faculty, and staff to make information easier to find. On the upper-right-hand side of the home page, an “Information For” menu directs you to content curated for specific user groups. Students, faculty, employees, parents, and alumni should bookmark these for quick access to regularly updated content with links, news, and resources specific to their needs.

Changes to the home page and information areas—as well as other improvements like mobile optimization and
a New School timeline—represent the first phase of a project that will give all the pages of the university website a new look and feel. Because this is a work-in-progress, we encourage you to share your impressions and suggestions with us using the feedback button on the home page. I hope you find the changes as exciting and engaging as I do. Stay tuned for more.
