With the fully repaired Academic Entrance (63 Fifth Avenue) now reopened, recovery and remediation continues for
the below-street levels of the University Center, which were damaged by
the water main break and flood of January 2014. A prospective schedule
of repairs and re-openings:
CVS/pharmacy will occupy the University Center's retail space on the corner of 14th Street and Fifth Avenue. The CVS will operate 24 hours a day and provide a valuable service to University Center residents and New School students. The location will adhere to The New School's sustainability guidelines and feature displays designed by Parsons students in its prominent windows. Learn more.
The University Center's classrooms, performance spaces, studios, and study areas are meant for all New School students and faculty. The following resources are available to help you make the most of the University Center.
