A thesis defense takes place during oral reviews at which students present their research, thesis concept, exhibition proposal, and still photographs, motion, performance, installation, and other genres to a panel comprised of faculty experts. Students are expected to articulate the link between their writing and creative practice as they position their work in historical and contemporary contexts.
