Description:
This course introduces students to the world of computer-generated imagery (CGI). The course gives special emphasis to the compositing of rendered images with images captured using digital photography. Main topics include: polygonal modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering and compositing. In addition to the technical skills covered in the course, students are encouraged to expand their concepts of photography and digital imaging. Assignments include real-world applications of skills learned.
