Description:
This course, the third of the Program’s Core Lab curriculum, is an intensive immersion in digital motion, introducing digital video capture and editing, basic sound recording and editing, and elements of visual style as they apply across multiple genres. Through technical demonstrations, hands-on collaborative work, screenings, readings, and assignments, students strengthen their awareness of contemporary methods of photographic and video production, while further developing their artistic vision. This lab course runs in tandem with Core Studio 3.

Open to: Bachelors degree in Photography majors, juniors only. Pre-requisite: PUPH 2110 Core Studio 2: Photo Practices and PUPH 2111 Core Lab 2: Photo Practices. Co-requisite: PUPH 3100 Core Studio 3: Photo Contexts.
