This course focuses on the more performative aspects of practicing as an artist and designer. With basic body and performance exercises, students will engage in activities such as public speaking, debate, acting, role-playing, and enacting scenarios for design. Students will see how these various skills can benefit their design practice, but will also be encouraged to develop their own interests with regards to research methods using props and observational learning through scenario building.
