Description:
By exploring the relationship between 3D and 2D, the unique properties of soft surfaces, and the techniques for constructing with them, students will develop transforming pliable 2D surfaces into 3D objects. Students are introduced to a variety of techniques including but not limited to hand and machine sewing, knitting, pattern making, draping, crochet.
