This course provides students with the fundamentals of branding and its role within the ampler disciplines of marketing and strategic design. Different brand creation models will be examined as to provide students with an array of approaches and tools in order to build their own methodology. Emphasis will be placed on innovative thinking and ‘breaking the mould’ using future trends and scenario building to define a brand strategy and a branding system that connects culturally and emotionally with a precise target, stays faithful and evolves with them, pushing the boundaries of the known and accepted.
