Description:
This inter-disciplinary and collaborative studio course brings together students from MFA interior design and MFA lighting design to investigate the comprehensive and holistic relationship between materials, light, space and human experience for the adaptation of an existing building. The studio's objective is to acheive a shared understanding of these two design perspectives and techniques; for the alliance and ultimate collaborative design proposal and to allow an understanding of the principles, language and vocabulary of another discipline’s perspective to inform one’s own approach to design.
