Description:
Picking up from Reyner Banham’s Architecture of the Well-Tempered Environment, this course will explore the way that architecture has been influenced by the systems at work in defining environments, and how buildings influence the world beyond them. These influences will include conventional environmental and sustainability issues, but will consider these issues in the context of other cultural, political and physical design issues and constraints.
