This is course explores the articulation of environmental and architectural space through the use of projection. The course focuses on how to craft projected media environments that have a physical and emotional impact on the viewer, whether momentarily as in an installation or performance, or as a fixed element of architecture. Students learn and work with the real-time processing application Isadora while studying the historical and contemporary use of projection in performance, architecture and installation. Students produce individual and collaborative projects with partners from across AMT and Architecture.
