Description:
This senior seminar explores how "The Life Course Revolution" impacts on the design and meaning of public space. Students will study plans, images, and texts describing "new' public space, the better to appreciate the impact of "The Life Course Revolution" on how and where we live our lives. The seminar will build upon cross-cultural material, some historical material, and cutting-edge design in the United States. Pathway: Design Studies

Open to: All university undergraduate degree students. Pre-requisite(s): first-year university writing course and at least two prior history or methods course in art, media, film, or visual culture. One of these courses should be 3000-level.
