Description:
Philosophers have differed as to the ultimate grounds of aesthetic experience, for it makes all the difference whether such experience is conceived in terms of changeless models, natural propensities, human consciousness or social conventions. In this course we examine four fundamental philosophies of the aesthetic with special reference to art and design practice and to the structure of argument. Pathway: Design Studies
