In a mobile and networked environment our bodies are becoming interfaces, mediated through mobile and wearable. The mobile phone became the predicted computational device for networked systems that includes accessories or garments like Nike+ and Adidas miCoach. The class examines the relationship between mobile, wearable, and ubiquitous computing. Why is Steve Mann relevant when examining GoogleGlass? Is the mobile phone of the future going to become wearable? And what do we learn from past failures like WAP?
