Description:
The Vulgate Bible, Augustine, Anselm, Aquinas, Hildegard, Abelard & Heloise, Martin Luther, and Popes from Peter to Francis I: the Latin is simple to medium and the debates are arcane and furious. Students wanting to begin or improve their Latin are invited for a trip through seventeen centuries of linguistic and religious tradition and evolution. We will cover basic grammar as quickly as possible in order to read plenty of real, vital, beautiful Latin.
