Description:
Latin is all about Rome. Each is the heart of the other. We will study of the city by examining the Latin texts. We will wander the ancient city with Martial, see the Church keep the medieval town alive, and tour the modern city, tattooed with Latin inscriptions and the ruins of its empire. Bridging the old and the new, we will trace the development of the Latin into Italian.
