This is the last part of a three-course sequence that introduces the fundamentals of speaking, listening, reading and writing in Italian. In Level 3, students complete the study of essential grammar by learning more complex structures (subjunctive, historical past tense, expressing hypothetical situations and obligation). Students study the history of the Italian language and the geography of Italy and learn more about contemporary Italian culture while building their cummicative skills. Prerequisite: Italian Level 2 or the equivalent.
