The goal of Chinese Intermediate 1 is to continue to build up level-appropriate vocabulary and sentence patterns in communicative contexts. Students will expand their ability to carry out conversations in Chinese on tasks of everyday life. Reading and writing are developed in conjunction with speaking and listening skills. Both traditional and simplified characters are used in the course.
