Students read cutting-edge theoretical literature and the study the work of innovators in this developing field. They should expect to come away with a portfolio of their original art-based solutions in the form of essays, taped performances, designs, exhibitions, etc. There are two hours of fieldwork weekly over a ten-week period in addition to class meetings.
