Enrollment limited. The use of art therapy implies that the creative process can help resolve emotional conflicts and foster self-awareness and personal growth. We cover definitions and theories of various illnesses and present child and adult case studies. Students are encouraged to undertake individual projects and exercises using various art materials and art therapy techniques that might be applicable to particular cases. This course equips trainees with technical knowledge, gives them practical experience, and prepares them for internships and professional work. Prerequisite: Training in Art Therapy 1 or equivalent experience. Certificate students must register in person with a certificate registration form signed by the program coordinator.
