Enrollment limited. This course examines the theoretical models that provide the foundation for the use of art in therapeutic situations. The history of the profession is outlined. Case studies and artwork are presented in class to illustrate assessment and treatment. Students are encouraged to develop the ability to interpret and respond to symbolism from their own work, their patients, and the world around them.
