In this third-semester course, students continue developing basic skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing in both Modern Standard Arabic and Levantine Colloquial Arabic. They also learn about Arabic culture Students learn new verb tenses and acquire the ability to narrate events and describe a variety of places and people. Simple Arabic texts are introduced. Prerequisite: Arabic Level 2, the equivalent, or permission of the instructor.
