This course is for Spanish speakers (especially advanced students of Spanish and bi-lingual speakers) interested in a bi-cultural approach to theater arts. Spanish and Latin American plays are studied as students the basics of the Stanislavski acting "method," which has been very significant in the modern Spanish-language theater. By practicing method exercises and preparing and performing scenes, students also improve their Spanish language skills and diction. The course is taught entirely in Spanish.
Prerequisite: oral fluency in Spanish as assessed by the instructor.
