This course is for Spanish speakers (especially advanced students of Spanish and bilingual speakers) interested in a bicultural approach to theater arts. Spanish and Latin American plays are studied as students master the basics of the Stanislavski acting method, which has played a significant role in modern Spanish language theater. By practicing method exercises and preparing and performing scenes, students also improve their Spanish language skills and diction. The course is taught entirely in Spanish. Prerequisite: oral fluency in Spanish as assessed by the instructor.
