Request New Service or Relocation
To request new telephone service or changes in existing service,
please complete a University Space Request Form (PDF) and email it to Adam Reale in the Office of Design and Construction. This form is used to add/move personnel or change
space. Once approved you will be contacted by Telecommunications to discuss the changes you require, as each change will incur
a service charge.
Requests in service may take from one week for programming to two months for new service. A change in service includes:
- adding or removing phone lines (telephone numbers)
- physically relocating an existing phone line (e.g., into another office)
Typical problems that should be reported for repair:
- no dial tone
- static noise
- Audio deficiencies
- Button or light/flash failure
- problem with voice recognition
- crossed lines
- voicemail not working
- problem with telephone instrument

Typical requests for existing services:
- change in name
- adding long distance passcode
- move extension within existing space
- button or light/flash failure
- adding additional feature (in call pickup, auto attendants, etc.
- telephone system phonebook
- adding voice mail
- changing the existing programming on a line
- requesting a new telephone instrument
