The University is pleased to announce the completion of this new, University wide telephone system. Over the past six months we have been converting our existing, antiquated telephone system.  The new system is a networked, multi-location Mitel SX-2000 System. The new system will provide state of the art features and functionality. From a user standpoint, everyone will have new digital telephones, voice activated dialing, voice mail, caller ID, conference calling, University wide four digit dialing, call transfer, speed dialing, to name a few.

The success of its completion is the result of the efforts of the Telephone Implementation Committee. Their challenge was to determine how the transition would take place, guide the development of training, insure that the needs of the users are being met and oversee the implementation of the new system. We thank them for their untiring work.
