The newcard is the official identification card of The New School. Online-only students receive non-photo newcards once they have registered for classes and paid tuition, or made tuition payment arrangements. If you have not received your newcard by the fourth week of classes, please email us at blackboard@newschool.edu.
If you plan to use New School facilities such as Academic Technology labs and university libraries or attend on-campus events, you must obtain a newcard with a photo. To do so, you should plan to visit Campus Card Services at 66 West 12th Street, room 409. For more information on submitting a photo and obtaining your newcard, visit the newcard website.
