Student Employment Opportunities

On-Campus Student Employment (OCSE) and Federal Work-Study (FWS) are two types of employment opportunities available to students who are both enrolled in a degree and/or certificate program and registered for at least six credits per semester.

Students may work up to 20 hours per week throughout the academic year. During the summer and official breaks, students may work a maximum of 35 hours per week. Earnings from student jobs are not applied directly toward the tuition bill. Instead, students are paid biweekly in return for their work and they determine how to best utilize these funds toward their educational expenses.

Currently the Student Employment Office processes information only for Federal Work-Study Program. Click on the “On-Campus Student Employment” link above for more information on OCSE jobs.
