Join us for a Theatre of the Oppressed workshop called Games of Engagement. The workshop will involve playing group games that use body, sound, and image as dialogue. These games are both fun and insightful, challenging us to reflect on the political nature of our behaviors and inviting us to act with critical intentionality.
In order to kick off Valentine's Day, we will play games that generally focus on the social politics and power plays that we encounter in all types of relationships, including the new relationships that will be formed at the workshop. With or without previous Theatre of the Oppressed experience, participants will get a taste for the types of dialogues these methods afford us. Sponsored by Wellness and Health Promotion.
