In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, warm coats and blankets are needed more than ever to help those who have lost homes to stay warm. Additionally, relief centers across New York City urgently need supplies such as batteries, flashlights, and cleaning supplies to help rebuild the hardest hit areas of the Lower East Side, Brooklyn, and Staten Island. This year’s drive is expanded to meet both of these pressing needs. If you would like to help collect and process donations, please email Nicholas Krebs at leadandserve@newschool.edu.

Students and staff who would like to donate clothing items besides coats should visit the nearest Goodwill, Salvation Army, or community organization. You can locate a nearby clothing donation site at www.donationscentral.org.
