International students interested in working on-campus or off-campus should attend this workshop to learn about available employment options. If you are thinking about taking advantage of optional practical training (OPT) or academic training at the end of your course of study, it is important to start to understand the U.S. workplace and connect with employers as soon as possible.
We will discuss:
On-campus employment
Curricular Practical Training (CPT internship)
Optional Practical Training (OPT)
Internship with an international organization
Severe economic hardship
J-1 Academic Training
