 In this University in Exile event, Chen Guangcheng, the blind Chinese activist lawyer who was recently permitted to leave China to study at New York University School of Law, will visit the New School to discuss the importance of freedom of expression with Jerome A. Cohen, Professor of law at New York University School of Law, who was instrumental in helping Chen negotiate with the Chinese authorities.
