Adventure Force
Adventure Force aims to create a warm community of nerd misfits, a place where we may feel welcome among or own. The purpose of this organization shall be to create activities and events made to quench a nerd’s thirst for that which a nerd enjoys to do.
American College of Health Care Executives (ACHE)
ACHE’s mission is to advance its members and healthcare management excellence through high ethical standards and pertinent knowledge.
Buddhism for Global Peace
Our mission is to introduce the Buddhist philosophy that leads to empowerment, emancipation, and happiness through the establishment of hope, courage, and confidence.
Capoiera
Capoeira’s two main objectives are to:

Build and Support a Capoeira community that will serve the interests of its individual members as well as the University Community at large.

Facilitate interaction and participation with the Capoeira community of NYC that will enrich the University community and contribute to establishing a greater community of practitioners and appreciators of the art of Capoeira.
Change Forum
Change Forum’s mission is to provide The New School campus with activities and events relating to Organizational Change Management and related topics of interest.
DANCe
We are a non-hierarchical social justice collective which facilitates ideas into action. We aim to have a positive impact on the world around us. We hope to educate and engage our peers and fellow citizens.
Falun Gong

GPIA Student Government
(Student Government Group)
The GPIA (Graduate Program of International Affairs) student government shapes the future of GPIA by representing and advocating for the rights and interests of the GPIA student body.
Graduate Student Assembly of the Masters Program in the History of Decorative Arts
(GSA-MAP)
Expanding knowledge of decorative arts and design, networking with alumni, and establishing a strong and supportive community through social events.
Imagining Global Asia
This organization is dedicated to connecting with people through the medium of media—to foster a dialogue and understanding through discussions, conferences, lecture series, film series, design, photo and art exhibitions, etc. in person as well as through an online web-portal to bring together scholarly research and expertise along with personal experiences to enhance cultural and global understanding.
International Club
International Club is formed to connect international students with the rest of campus. It gives students the opportunity to network and creates a home away from home environment.
Latin American Forum
The Latin American Forum is to enhance the experience of students, faculty, and practitioners interested in Latin America, provide a virtual center for networking and research on international issues related to Latin American countries.
Milano Ph.D Student Advocacy Association
(Student Government Group)
The Milano Ph. D Student Advocacy Association (MPSAA) will advocate for student resources and provide access to information to help students navigate the graduate program.
Mission Club
Mission Club is a Korean Christian Club that is open to students of all faiths and backgrounds. We hold weekly prayer group meetings.
Moxie
Moxie is the feminist organization committed to providing a supportive and safe space for feminism.
The New Alliance
The New Alliance is to provide a visible leadership and advocacy presence for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered individuals at the New School and issues that affect these communities.
The New Jew
The New School’s organization for its Jewish community. All are welcome from any background, education, experience, level of observance. Our goal is to build community and create a vibrant Jewish presence on campus.
NewRadioProject
The NewRadioProject wants to establish a radio station for the whole university.
The New Tunes
The New Tunes has been created in order to develop a group of seasoned singers through committed practice and bring a cappella music to the community through public performances.
NORML
Our mission is to educate the community about the political aspects of marijuana use, as well as the medical consequences associated with use. We educate an end to marijuana prohibition—a program that we feel is more harmful to society than the use of the drug itself.
Out, Proud Environment at The New School (OPEN)
OPEN is a social, political and support organization serving the queer and queer allied community of The New School.
The New School Philosophy Club
Seeks to promote philosophical discourse between graduate and undergraduate students by way of hosting an annual philosophy conference at the New School.
PhotoFEAST
PhotoFEAST’s mission is to create an informal salon for discussion on and exchange of photography between all students at The New School.
Project Africa
The mission of Project Africa is to:

Create a community of students, professors, and scholars interested in the cultural, political, and social conditions of Africa.

Provide the New School Community with a resource center that will serve as a platform for dialogue and exchange of information, heavily incorporating the African perspective

Develop linkages/partnerships with other centers of excellence in Africa and beyond

Contribute to the development and uniqueness of the GPIA, the New School, and NYC.
The School of GO GO
The School of GO GO is an artistic collective consisting of New School innovators and self-described artists, who in collaborating enrich their art and the community around them.
SoUL
SoUL’s mission is to support the social, academic, and personal well-being of students of color at The New School, while celebrating the diverse cultural identities within the community.
Sketch Comedy Group
The purpose of this group is to allow those parts of The New School community who enjoy and respect good comedy to come together and produce said comedy in the format of written sketches.
Student Association for the Research and Advancement of Nonprofit Organizations (SARANO)
Promotes research, discussion and involvement in the nonprofit sector.
Students for a Democratic Society (SDS)
Seeks to promote active participation in the resolution of present day injustices that plague our nation. SDS is an association of young people on the left. It seeks to create sustained community of educational and political concern; one bringing together liberals and radicals, activist and scholars, students and faculty.
Student Sustainability Committee
Our goal is to have a sustainable campus. This will be achieved through our mission which is to mitigate the negative environmental impacts that we observe and participate in on our campus. We strive to make The New School a positive part of the urban environment.
Sustainable Design Review
The mission of Sustainable Design Review is to foster and encourage awareness and education of social, artistic, and designed based sustainable solutions to dynamic challenges presented to students inside and outside of their classroom walls.
The Theatre Collective
The Theatre Collective is an organization of students with the desire and drive to create and produce student written, directed, and acted productions.
Wes Anderson Enthusiasts Society (WAES)
The WAES is a club dedicated to enjoying and understanding the films of Wes Anderson and similar film makers, as well as assisting members in their own creative endeavors.
Women of Color
To be a community and a voice for the women of color at The New School.
