About Us

The Office of Career Development at The New School aims to help you identify, plan and implement sound career decisions that will lead to your personal and professional growth. We take a holistic approach to career and life planning through programs and services that seek to bridge the need for self-awareness with knowledge of the world of work. Ultimately, we are committed to empowering students to enter the competitive, evolving global arena with confidence and competence.

Our office serves degree students of The New School for General Studies, Eugene Lang College The New School for Liberal Arts, Mannes College The New School for Music and The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music.
