On Site Psychological Assessment
Low-cost psychological assessment service is now available to all New School Students. Counseling Services collaborates with the Clinical Psychology program at The New School for Social Research to offer this confidential service.
Psychological assessment may be helpful if you
- Have trouble taking tests, concentrating, or keeping up with school projects
- Are worried that your emotions are interfering with your academic success
- Feel that you’re not reaching your potential
- Are concerned that you may have attention deficit disorder (ADD) or a learning disability
The assessment includes in-depth feedback about your test results and recommendations. In some cases, the test findings may be used as documentation to request academic accommodations through New School Student Disability Services.
