Monday through Thursday: 8:30 a.m.- 11:00 p.m.

Friday: 8:30 a.m.- 9:00 p.m.  

Closed Labor Day (Monday, September 3) and Thanksgiving Weekend (Thursday, November 22 through Sunday, November 25).

24-hour Schedule During Finals

The Student Study Center will be open 24 hours beginning Monday, December 3 (building opens at 8:30 a.m.) and will conclude on Monday, December 17 (building closes at 11:00 p.m.).  

Group Study Room Reservation Procedure

Email studycenter@newschool.edu with the date and time you need a room, as well as your name, N#, the school you attend, and group size (there is an eight person maximum). All reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance, and your reservation is not official until you receive an e-mail confirmation.

The Student Study Center at 90 Fifth Avenue provides students with nearly 9,000 square feet of study space. The two-level facility on the northwest corner of 14th Street features several group study rooms, open lounge seating, a laptop bar, and email kiosks. It also offers full wireless access. The facility includes a small pantry with a microwave for dining on the run.
