One of the distinguishing features of a democratic society is the right of
the citizenry to elect its representatives to government. This right is
absolute but comes with responsibilities and requires action on citizens'
part. One such action is to register to vote.
UNLESS YOU REGISTER, YOU CANNOT EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE.
Registration is a simple process that involves completing and
mailing a simple voter registration application. Applications are
available in the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities, in the Office of Student Development and Activities, and
at the New York City Board of Elections website.
BE RESPONSIBLE. REGISTER TODAY.
