    All new students are expected to attend New Student Orientation

    New Student Orientation for undergraduate and graduate students beginning studies in the spring 2015 semester takes place January 20–23, 2015. Orientation is intended to help students become members of our university community. Students receive important information about academic policies and the course registration process for their division of the university. In addition, workshops introduce students to resources and services available at The New School.

    Access the Orientation Schedules on Your Phone

    Bookmark the Sched app for customized schedules, a campus map, and more:

    1. Visit the mobile orientation schedule on your smartphone.

    3. View your school’s schedule and the university-wide events schedule.

    Please Note

    Attendance at certain orientation sessions is mandatory. Carefully review the schedule for your school or program and note the required events.

    New Students in Public Engagement’s School of Undergraduate Studies (BA, BS, and BFA)

    • Plan to attend the academic orientation session on Thursday, January 15, 2015.
    • Refer to The New School for Public Engagement orientation schedule for other events during orientation week.

    ESL + Design Certificate Students

    • ESL + Design students have their own orientation.
