"The atmosphere created by staff. They were not intimidating but strict and very loving, like a family."  

"Being respected by the teachers as someone, a student that has greater capabilities/capacities. Having great expectations."  

Academically, how did the pre-fresh summer prepare you?  

"It prepared me for the load of work that I should expect and how to manage my time."  

What excites you about being here?  

"That I’m doing what I love and learning more about it."  

What would you tell a high school senior applying to HEOP?  

"If you are not serious or ready to sacrifice and work hard then Parsons/Lang is not for you. This is a school for hard workers, not for slackers."
