Newly Admitted Students

Priority application deadline for full academic year 2012-2013: July 1, 2012

Priority application deadline for spring 2013 (spring semester new admits only): December 1, 2012

 

Before you can apply for student housing, you must have

  • Been accepted as a full-time student by one of the academic divisions of The New School
  • Received your New School ID number (N+ 8 digits)
  • Paid your tuition deposit (where applicable)
  • Received instructions to log on to my.newschool.edu

Once you have all the above information, you can begin your application for student housing.

Step 1: Log on to my.newschool.edu

Step 2: Select the "Student" tab and find the housing application link

Step 3: Fill out the online application (follow our step-by-step instructions)

Step 4: Electronically sign the 2012-2013 Housing Contract

Step 4: Pay the non-refundable housing deposit of $250 (part of submitting the application)

Step 5: Wait for your 2012-2013 room and roommate assignment information (emailed to your New School email address in mid-July)
