Career Development

The Office of Career Development serves degree and certificate students and alumni of the following divisions:

  • The New School for Public Engagement (excluding the Milano School; including the New School Bachelor's Program and graduate programs in creative writing, media studies, and MA TESOL) 
  • Eugene Lang College The New School for Liberal Arts
  • Mannes College The New School for Music  
  • The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music 

Our Mission

The New School has a long tradition of fostering creativity, intellectual inquiry, and positive social change. Within this framework, our purpose is to educate, support, engage, and inspire students and alumni in their career development. We do this by providing innovative programming, counseling, educational resources, and opportunities to network and build positive relationships between The New School and the world.

The Office of Career Development is a New School Safe Zone
