The New School for Public Engagement offers undergraduate programs designed specifically for transfer students, including working adults of all ages, who wish to finish their bachelor’s degrees in flexible program at a progressive institution. Admission advisors are waiting to talk to you about your plans and needs and to discuss whether one of our programs is the right program for you.
The New School for Public Engagement Undergraduate Programs will host a Prospective Student Day on May 4, 2013. For details of this event, email Matt Morgan, assistant director of Admission.
Meet members of the faculty and admission staff of the School of Undergraduate Studies. Get answers to all your questions, including ones about degree options, credit for prior learning, financial aid, and admission requirements. Recommended for prospective students who have not yet applied. See the schedule and sign up for an Undergraduate Information Session.
Hour-long walking tours of the New School campus in Greenwich Village are led by current undergraduate students. Tours take place Monday through Friday at noon. You must book in advance. We recommend the tour to all prospective students, whatever their application status.
If you wish to meet one-on-one with an admission counselor, call 212.229.5150 or email email@example.com and schedule an appointment, or drop in during our open advising hours.
Please call or email the office if you plan to visit the Office of Admission at other times or if you wish to meet with a specific counselor.
We’re proud of our distinguished faculty and our students. You’re invited to sit in on a class in session and experience the School of Undergraduate Studies for yourself. A large number of class visits representing a range of subjects are offered every term. Only one visitor is permitted in any class, so it is important to sign up early. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and to sign up.
If you can’t come to The New School, we can come to you.
The School of Undergraduate Studies offers interactive admission information sessions online several times a year. As in the information sessions on campus, representatives of our academic programs join with admission counselors to answer your questions. Webinars will be posted here as they are scheduled:
Every fall and spring, New School admission counselors travel to college fairs and community colleges in the New York City metro area and other parts of the northeastern states to introduce our unique undergraduate programs for transfer students. A travel schedule for fall 2013 will be available in late July. Please check back at this website or contact us in July.
