    Joanne Polichetti

    Part-Time Faculty, Management

    Joanne Polichetti (MA, The New School) has been working in the field of learning and development since 1980. For more than 25 years, she has helped businesses achieve measurable results from their learning investments.

    Polichetti has worked in a variety of industries, including financial services, transportation, communications, pharmaceutical, consumer products, and government agencies.

    Her specialty areas include designing results-based instruction and performance consulting. With her guidance and coaching, her clients have been able to gain efficiencies resulting in measurable cost savings to the line and human resources departments.

    As principal of Integrated Learning Solutions, Polichetti works with a variety of industries to build classroom and blended solutions to create learning synergies and facilitate change. Her areas of expertise range from management and leadership, including performance management and talent management, to sales, service, and technical skills. She calls upon an extensive research background and an avid interest in current best practices to create innovative solutions for classroom, virtual, or blended delivery. A skilled facilitator, Polichetti is often invited to design and facilitate team building and executive offsites. Polichetti also delivers a workshop in Instructional Design—bringing graduate level knowledge and skills to internal training organizations.

    Before forming Integrated Learning Solutions, Polichetti worked as a consultant for the Forum Corporation and as an internal consultant on Citibank’s U.S. Consumer Bank national training team. She has also held significant positions on Citibank’s New York marketplace training team, where she assisted in the development of a customized instructional systems design model and the implementation of the independent learning curriculum for the Retail Bank.

    Polichetti also served as team leader for the management and leadership curriculum at the Bank of New York and Training Manager for the East New York Savings Bank.

    Consistent with her commitment to excellence in the field of learning, Polichetti is a part-time faculty member for Milano The New School for Management and Urban Policy.

    Polichetti has delivered several speeches at ASTD national conferences, including topics on preparing students for careers in learning and instructor development in organizations. She has also co-authored an article on the latter published in the Training and Development Journal and facilitated cracker-barrel sessions at TechLearn.

    Polichetti is a national member of the International Society for Performance Improvement and the American Society of Training and Development, and is licensed to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
