    Christina McElderry

    Program Assistant for the International Affairs Program

    B.A. from the College of St. Catherine in women's studies, urban policy, and sociology

    Christina is the Program Assistant for the International Affairs Program. She is a Ph.D. student in Politics at the New School for Social Research with a focus on political theory, particularly theories of space, territory, states, and globalization. Her research interrogates questions of ‘thingness' in states and territories, with the aim of de-stabilizing the givenness of these concepts. Other interests include feminist and queer theory, race and ethnicity in the US, theories of sovereignty, US foreign policy, and politics of vision and sight. She has a B.A. from the College of St. Catherine in women's studies, urban policy, and sociology.
