    Ana Baptista

    Part-Time Faculty, Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management

    Ana Baptista (PhD, Rutgers University) is Director of Environmental and Planning programs for the Ironbound Community Corporation (ICC) overseeing a wide range of on Environmental Justice, Community Development and Land Use Planning projects in Newark, NJ. Baptista is a founding member of the statewide New Jersey Environmental Justice Alliance and is Vice Chair on Newark’s Environmental Commission. Baptista is a senior fellow of the national Environmental Leadership Program. She received her BA in Environmental Biology and Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College, an MA in Environmental Studies from Brown University and received her Ph.D. in Urban Planning and Public Policy at the E.J. Bloustein School for Urban Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University.
