    Anne S. Ditmeyer

Part-time Faculty, Strategic Design and Management

Anne S. Ditmeyer is an American graphic designer, editor, consultant and design educator based in Paris whose work strives to connect creatives across continents and cultures. With a multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural approach in mind, Anne founded her blog, Prêt à Voyager (translation: “ready to travel”) in 2007 to explore the intersection travel and design and the creative ways people travel. She has visited 46 U.S. states, over 30 countries around the world, and lived on a ship as she traveled around the world. Anne’s studies have included Anthropology and Art History at the University of Virginia (’03), a Masters in Publications Design from the University of Baltimore (’06) and a Masters in Global Communication at the American University of Paris (’11), where her work focused on tourism and new media.

Anne has worked as a longtime contributing editor for Design*Sponge, and her writing has been published in Dwell, Anthology, EasyJet Traveller and Kinfolk. Anne offers bespoke tours of Paris through Vayable, and teaches map making and InDesign through Skillshare. Anne’s latest endeavor is co-founder / editorial director of Studio/Practice, which serves as a curated library of tips and tools for creative business, or the #thingsiwishilearnedinschool.
