Ronald C. Jennings is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of
Anthropology at Columbia University. His current academic work is an anthropology
of political modernity and the globalization of the political and is based on
fieldwork conducted at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Before coming to Columbia,
he received a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and worked as a
human rights lawyer in South Africa
and with the International Human Rights Group's Cambodian Court Training
Project.
