Verge nyc, an exploration of transdisciplinary design, at parsons school of design

Student-Led Conference Features a Talk By Anthony Dunne of Dunne & Raby Design Studio

Wednesday through Friday, February 24-26, 2016 at The New School in New York City

WHAT:

Verge NYC, a three-day event organized by students at The New School's Parsons School of Design, brings leading thinkers, field experts, and change makers together under one roof to explore how transdisciplinary design can be used to address some of the most pressing issues of our time.

Transdisciplinary Design is an emerging field of design which incorporates systems, service and strategic design, while encouraging collaboration across and between multiple disciplines.

The theme for the event is "elasticity," a concept that "can be used to spark conversation about the role of design in our mess, complicated and intertwined world," according to the event organizers.

There are three parts to the event: Curated Conversations, Speakers and Workshop Series, and Evening Events. View the list of speakers in the "WHO" section.

For a full schedule of events, visit the Verge NYC website and scroll down to "The Conference."
