Parsons Presents Rethinking Fashion:
Environmental Stewardship and Social Responsibility with the Timberland Company

WHAT: Parsons The New School for Design presents a discussion with Betsy Blaisdell, manager of environmental stewardship for the Timberland Company, as part of Rethinking Fashion, a series presented by the School of Fashion at Parsons to address issues of sustainability in the fashion industry.

Blaisdell will discuss Timberland’s product nutritional labeling system and its commitment to corporate social responsibility based on civic engagement, environmental stewardship, and global human rights. Moderated by James Mendolia, assistant professor of fashion marketing, Parsons The New School for Design.
