Parsons Presents Stolen Moments: The Photographs of Ronny Jaques

Discussion Featuring Town & Country's Pamela Fiori, October 16, 6:30 p.m.

WHAT: Parsons The New School for Design presents an evening with Town & Country Editor-in-Chief Pamela Fiori, author of the recently published Stolen Moments: The Photographs of Ronny Jaques (Glitterati Incorporated). Fiori will discuss the book, which chronicles the life and work of photographer Ronny Jaques, a contemporary of Richard Avedon, Lillian Bassman and Horst. Jacques’ portfolio, much of which was shot and appeared in magazines during the 1940’s, 1950’s and 1960’s, consisted of couture fashion, travel reportage, and celebrity portraiture. His many photographs of authors, musicians, actors, fashion designers, playwrights, and artists are included in the book. Fiori will discuss Jacques’ life and contextualize his work with that of his peers.

Pamela Fiori is Editor-in-Chief of Town & Country, the oldest continuously published magazine in America.
